In reaper, I have a track for each deck, A-D (simplified to explain my basic setup).

Then I can tell Traktor to output each deck as a 2-channel (Reaper ASIO 1+2 on deck A, 3+4 deck B, et al). In Traktor, I set audio hardware instead to Reaper ASIO (need to tick box when installing Reaper as default is set to not install). I have a KA6 interface, and Reaper settings use this with dedicated Komplete Audio Driver. I may be misunderstanding what your aim is exactly (I'm still pretty new to all this) but I think I have been doing something like this using Traktor Pro with some success (still working out kinks). Predictably, when I try to record the audio output of the VST after arming the kit piece tracks, there is no audio. However, when I arm these independent kit piece tracks, they suddenly are not receiving audio to record! Even though they are receiving audio, which I can hear clearly and see the meter light up with, when they are simply monitoring. So, the upshot is, when I play kit pieces, no audio comes through the parent track (this is as it should be), but I can see the meters light up and hear audio coming through from each independent kit piece track. Each of the cells in Battery I want to send an independent output for are routed (manually, in Battery) to the correct tracks in Reaper.

Audio receive only (no midi receive) tracks for each of the kit pieces I want to have independent control of.

Battery is set up so that it has the full 32 outs it is capable of.Ģ. Let me first set out that I have set up the following:ġ. However when I try to record the independent pieces of kit, nothing is recorded. I've spent a while reviewing all the videos I could find on correctly setting up VST drums in Reaper to have independent outputs for separate kit pieces.
